Neurodiversity in Adult and Continuing Education

Neurodiversity describes the idea that people interpret, communicate, and understand the world in different ways. While all individuals bring unique strengths and experiences to their learning, many neurodivergent individuals experience significant barriers to education and employment due to their learning, communication, and inclusion needs.

This session, presented by Conference Board of Canada lead research associate, Dr. Jennifer Fane, draws on findings from research on neuroinclusive policies and practices in workplaces and post-secondary education to provide an overview of neurodiversity and evidence based-strategies for supporting neuro-inclusive practices within adult education contexts.

This meeting will take place via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent via email prior to the event.
