Empowering Staff with AI (virtual)

This workshop will explore innovative ideas for creating AI-themed professional development opportunities for staff, focusing on strategies for leading teams through AI adoption and overcoming implementation challenges.

Participants will gain insights into some of the latest AI resources and tools, while also learning how AI can significantly benefit remote and northern communities by enhancing accessibility, efficiency, and service delivery. The session aims to empower staff with the knowledge and skills to navigate AI integration successfully in their work environments. 

Parastou Ziadlou is the Secondary, PLAR and PSW Principal in Pikangikum First Nation. She is a dedicated educator committed to student and staff growth. She is committed to supporting diverse and unique student needs and educational pathways for Indigenous students. Parastou is a facilitator and coach for staff professional development, supporting educators through collaborative learning, capacity building, and the implementation of effective teaching strategies. 

This meeting will take place via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent via email prior to the event.
