Join us for an in-depth review and discussion of the groundbreaking report, "Literacy and Basic Skills: A Pathway to Supporting ESL Learners in Rural Ontario."

The CESBA LBS Committee invites you to join us for an in-depth review and discussion of the groundbreaking report, "Literacy and Basic Skills: A Pathway to Supporting ESL Learners in Rural Ontario." Released by several LBS support organizations in March 2023, this report offers valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities faced by ESL learners in rural communities. Let's explore key findings, best practices, and actionable strategies to better support our ESL learners on their educational journey. The information and insights are applicable to both rural and urban settings.  This event will be hosted by Shirley Graham, with guests joining us to co-present the event.  If you are an A&CE Administrator, LBS or ESL Program Lead, interested in further supporting or learning about ESL and LBS pathways, you won’t want to miss this session.

This meeting will take place via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent via email prior to the event.
