LBS Forum

This will be a full day of in-person professional development for LBS Leads and Principals/VPs. Work side by side as we lead you through the performance management framework, the business planning cycle, financial reporting, activity reports, the monitoring process, Cams and SP Connect. 

There is no fee to attend, and CESBA will cover one night accommodation at the Chelsea for up to two members per school board—ideally, one LBS Lead/Coordinator and one Principal/VP/Manager. Read below for information on how to book a room. See booking info below. We will limit the attendance to 40 attendees. Hot breakfast and lunch will be provided.

You will get the first opportunity to have an orientation to the NEW LBS Manager Handbook, which covers just about everything LBS – and more!

Other topics will include networking and service coordination within and outside of school board programs to support seamless client pathways and learning opportunities for learners. 

The elimination of the GED will be addressed to discuss how LBS and A&CE could benefit from working together.  

Additionally, we will explore how LBS programs can work with ESL/FSL programs to support the influx of newcomers to Ontario requiring ESL/FSL language training supports.

CESBA will showcase the new LBS Impact Report tool and the LBS Needs Assessment Tool.
